AISI P20 Steel P20+S P20+Ni
AISI P20 Steel is a versatile, low-alloy tool steel that is characterized by good toughness at moderate strength levels. The steel is commonly used for plastic injection mold cavities and toolingand for die casting dies for zinc. P20 is typically sold in the pre-hardened condition at a hardness of approximately 300 HBW.
P20+S is a plastic mould tool steel,P20 with higher sulphur content(0.30-0.50),thus improves machinability.It is delivered in pre-hardened condition.It is a high strength steel.
P20S hardness : 28-34 HRC P20+S is not suitable for polishing or applications where a fine finish is required.P20S steel have good cutting properties, usual use plastic mould, Injection molding and die mold. The P20S steel materials delivery condition as per different customer requirements, usual delivery condition as Pre-hardness, hardness 28-34 HRC.
P20+Ni is an upgraded version of 2311 plastic mould steel,which is normally supplied in pre-hardened condition. Hardness in as provided condition 280-320 HB with having uniform hardness and the extra nickel content of 1% increases through hardening.
