Heat exchangers and condensers: SA-179 steel pipes are the preferred material due to their ultra-thin wall thickness (minimum 0.5mm) and uniform pipe diameter tolerance (±0.1mm), which not only reduces the weight of the structure, but also improves the heat transfer efficiency by 15%-20%.
Power boiler system: In supercritical thermal power generating units, A-179 is often used to manufacture key components such as economizers and superheaters due to its high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. SA-179 steel pipes have been in service for more than 100,000 hours in the power industry, with excellent performance.
Petrochemical refining units: In the U-shaped tube bundle in the hydrogenation reactor, SA-179 can withstand a 20MPa high-pressure hydrogen environment.
SA 179 Standards Pipe Features:
1. High dimensional accuracy: Outer diameter deviation controlled within ±0.5%, wall thickness deviation within ±0.2mm. This high precision ensures the safe operation of the pipeline system.
2. High surface quality requirements: SA-179 standards require the absence of cracks, folds, and scabs to ensure the pipeline system can operate at high temperatures.
3. Good mechanical properties: The tensile strength of SA-179 steel pipes is typically between 310MPa and 440MPa.
4. Strict material composition requirements: To ensure the pipeline does not become brittle under high temperatures, the chemical composition must be strictly controlled.
