All you need to know about Inconel 600 Bars

What is Incoloy 800 bar?

Incoloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy which was introduced in the year 1950 into the market to meet the need for a relatively low nickel content heat- and corrosion-resistant alloy. This is because the nickel was at that time designated a “strategic” metal. It has been commonly used over the past forty years for its strength at high temperatures and its ability to resist oxidation, carburization, and other high-temperature corrosion forms.

The incoloy 800 bar is used in applications which include parts and devices for the furnace, pigtails and headers, cracker tubes for the petrochemical furnace, and sheathing for electrical heating elements. The Inconel 800 round bar is an alloy built on iron, nickel & chromium. This Inconel 800H hot finish round bar is renowned for its moderate tensile strength with strong oxidation and carburization resistance and high temperature resistance.

With their immense strength and high resilience against the most crucial conditions, the exclusive Incoloy 800 Bars are now satisfying the demand of every customer. The bars have some outstanding features and characteristics of cold formation that are usually associated with nickel chromium alloys.

The bars here are available in a wide variety of styles and shapes. Also during long-term use the threaded bars still remain ductile at a temperature that goes below 1290 degrees F, and this is due to the maximum aluminium and titanium content used in these bars. However, the Incoloy 800 Bars are mostly used below 600 degrees C.

Various industrial furnace equipment and components, chemical and petrochemical processing, the pulp and paper industry, waste treatment facilities, refining, food processing and much more have witnessed the application of these bars.

Which industrial applications are the Incoloy 800 Bars used?

Incoloy 800 Bar finds their applications in extremely corrosive conditions in the following Industries.

  • Petrochemicals Plants
  • Chemical Plants
  • Oil & Gas Industry
  • Food Processing Industry
  • Refineries
  • Industrial Machinery
  • Power Industry
  • Paper & Pulp Industry

The Incoloy 800 Bars are available in various types such as round, hex, square, billet, ingot, forging, etc. Their surface varies from hot rolled pickled or cold drawn one, hot, polished, finished hairline and even sand blasting one to meet the needs of the clients accordingly.
